Mediatek MT6191 RF System Datasheet

MediaTek MT6191 is a multi-mode and multi-band highly integrated LNA bank. This document describes the performance of RF standalone chips embedded throughout the platform. Key features: 1. Full multi-mode RF solution (GGE/C2K/WCDMA/TD-SCDMA/LTE/NR SA/NR NSA) - Multi-band NR sub6G/LTE/WCDMA/TD-SCDMA/C2K/GGE - MT6191 supports frequency bands between 617 and 2,690 MHz. - 256 QAM DL (HSPA+/LTE) - C2K/2G/3G/4G/5G synergy 2. Support 2G DRx & 3G/4G/5G TDD SAWless Rx - MT6191 supports SAWless function with MediaTek RF transceiver. 3. Integration of LB, MLB, MB, HB LNA. - Designed for the coexistence of CA operations and LNA paths. - Designed to mitigate potential spurs and disturbances caused by CA/MIMO/EN-DC operation. 4. 7 LNA input groups can support the required CA and EN-DC situations. - 2 LB groups, 1 MLB group, 2 MB groups, and 2 HB groups - Each group has multiple inputs to meet the desired band SKU 5. 7 LNA output groups with path selection - Synthesize the band path to the appropriate CA and MIMO paths for the receiver. 6. Low noise and high gain design provide the best downlink path sensitivity performance. 7. The LNA contains multiple gain gears to optimize SNR, blocking performance, and power consumption. The -6 LNA gain gear is used for typical receiver operation. The additional G7 gain is designed to improve MB and HB sensitivity under specific conditions. 8. The active attenuator design of the low-gain gear provides high reverse isolation and reduces the coupling between the input and output matching conditions. This maintains the match condition and provides a good SNR at the RX signal level. 9. Work under low supply voltage to reduce power consumption.

10. The chip has a built-in LDO to suppress power ripple and interference.
