MediaTek MT6360 Intelligent Power Management IC Datasheet

The MediaTek MT6360 is a highly integrated intelligent power management IC that includes a single-cell Li-Ion/Li-Polymer switched-cell battery charger, USB Type-C and power delivery (PD) controllers, dual Flash LED current sources, RGB LED drivers, two step-down converters, and six LDOs for portable devices. The switching charger integrates a synchronous PWM controller, power MOSFETs, input current sensing and input current regulation, high-precision voltage regulation, and charge termination circuitry. In addition, the charging current is regulated by means of an integrated sensing resistor. It also supports USB On-The-Go (OTG). USB Type-C and PD controllers are compliant with the latest USB Type-C and PD standards. It integrates a complete Type-C transceiver, including Type-C termination resistors, Rp and Rd, and enables USB Type-C detection, including connection and orientation. It also integrates the physical layer of the USB BMC power delivery protocol, allowing for power delivery and role reversal. The BMC PD feature fully supports alternate modes on the USB Type-C standard.
