The MediaTek MT6169 is a 40nmCMOS multimode multiband transceiver. The RF transceiver function is fully integrated. This document describes the performance objectives of RF macros that are embedded throughout the product.
Features:
1. Full multi-mode RF solution (GGE/WCDMA/TDSCDMA/LTE)
Multi-band LTE/WCDMA/TD-SCDMA/quad-band GGE
16QAM UL/64QAM Digital Link (HSPA+/LTE)
2G/3G/4G same frequency
RxD support (8 RxD ports)
2. Direct Conversion (LTE/3G), Two-Point Modulation (TPM) for GMSK, and Small Signal Polarity for 8-PSK: Dedicated power detection circuits for power control in specific power ranges
3. Hybrid Direct Conversion (4G/3G)/Low and Intermediate Frequency (GGE, DC-HSDPA) receivers
4. Low supply current and operation obtained directly from the DC-DC converter
5. TC26XO Integrated Internal Operation: Three Low Noise Additional Clock Drivers for Clock Connection/Peripheral IC; Ultra-low power consumption 32KHz mode
6. RF calibration functions for key Rx and Tx specifications (image suppression, low pass feed, DC offset)

Refer to the clock specification
The MT6169 RF system integrates a core 26MHz XTAL oscillator (DCXO), AFCDAC, and a 32KHz low-power mode. The system also integrates external and internal clock buffers. The mode of operation (internal DCXO or external VCTCXO) is selected via the input X mode of the baseband, and in crystal mode, the XTAL is directly connected between XO1 and XO2. In VCTCXO mode, the XO2 pin is reconfigured as an AFCDAC output and XO1 is reconfigured as a VCTCXO clock input pin. Since the state of XMODE is latched into the module, baseband configuration can be done using the pin state "notch" scheme at power-up if required.
transmitter
This section lists all transmitter characteristics. Typical specifications apply to mid-channel frequencies, as well as under typical operating voltage and temperature conditions.
receiver
The Direct Translation/LIF Receiver (RX) contains all the active circuitry of the complete receiver chain that supports LTE (TDD/FDD), single GSM/GPRS/EDGE (GGE) mode reception. A total of 8 LNAs, 8 mixers, and 8 LOI/Q LPF2 analog filters.
